MIAMI (AP) Dwyane Wade of the Miami Heat says he woke up with swelling and stiffness in his left knee on Wednesday, one day after getting hit in Game 6 of the NBA Finals against San Antonio.

Wade missed the start of the second half of Game 6 while getting treatment, then returned. He has no doubt that he will play in Game 7 on Thursday, when the Heat and Spurs will decide this season's NBA champion.

Wade has been bothered by right knee soreness for about three months. In Game 6, a collision hurt his surgically repaired left knee, the one that kept him out of last summer's London Olympics.
